A-Champs July 24th
Location: King County Aquatic Center, Federal Way
(see directions under Swim Team menu header)
Facility opens at 7:30 am: Arrive early. Parking is limited.
The Federal Way Little League parking lot will not be available for use. There is some street and neighborhood parking and a shopping center about 1/2 mile past the pool that can usually be used for over flow parking.
Bottom line just get there early.
Team Warm Ups: All swimmers must be ready and behind the blocks by
7:45 am. All swimmers must be present for warm ups even if scheduled for a later event. Warming up in the competitive pool is important. Swimmers need to have awareness of the temperature and the dive blocks so there are no surprise.
Note to Parents: This is a team event. Please prepare to be present for the entire meet. Swimmers are expected to show
"Gator Nation Spirit" and support their team mates for
"ALL" swims.
Also Note: Coaches, swimmers, officials and session volunteers (during their session) are allowed on deck during the meet. If you are not in any of these catagories you need to remain in the stands.
Swimmers are to remain on deck with their team for the meet.
Parents make sure that your swimmer have their events written on their arm before warm ups.
Senior swimmers will be assisting younger swimmers both on the deck and with meet management.
There will be water and snacks provided, however any special dietary needs will need to accompany your swimmer on deck.
Lastly to those early bird parents: Please help carve out a spot in the stand for the gator families. I recommend left side by the starting blocks. We will try to get the swimmers located under this area or as close to as possible
